ABSL Moldova continues to strengthen collaboration with academic institutions by facilitating direct interaction between students and the business environment through the Student Visits Program.
As part of this initiative, students from the Faculty of International Economic Relations (REI) of the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova had the opportunity to visit H. Essers Moldova — part of a leading Belgian logistics and transport group operating across Europe.
During the visit, students gained valuable insights into the day-to-day operations of an international company, explored career opportunities, and learned about the skills and competencies required for entry-level roles. The session was led by Daniela Römischer, Country Manager in Moldova and a member of ABSL Moldova, who shared practical perspectives on professional development and employment opportunities within the company.
The visit offered students a clear understanding of the transition from education to employment, including hiring requirements, available roles, and career paths in the Business Services sector. They also had the chance to observe real work processes and better understand the expectations of employers at the early stages of their careers.
ABSL Moldova is committed to supporting young talent by creating opportunities for students to engage directly with companies and gain practical exposure to the industry. Initiatives like the Student Visits Program contribute to building a strong talent pipeline and facilitate a smoother transition from academia to the labor market.
